I'm not taking your name off the list, though! :-)
How about March?
Thanks for that, Kathleen...my spirit will be there. Maybe I should move to CA....
Have a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Jo
Jo, we have a roadrunner on our mailbox, so your spirit will be right out front!
Happy Thanksgiving.
I hope the Wily E. Coyote Doesn't pop up. LOL Jo
We have a stick of dynamite ready for him!
Welcome Melissa!
A whole bunch of shy people here in CA I guess. Not me though. I'm new to DG myself and am really looking forward to the March Round Up. I tested my new crockpot, and I am almost ready. First to recover from burn. TEE Hee. Aloe Vera is wonderful. Burn is already healed (received on Turkey Day). Whooo hoo!
Missed you all this past week while family was visiting but I'm glad they did. We had a good time.

Singing Wolf,
I didn't know until just now that you were from Menifee. I am right down the 215 at Perris. We have lived here for 19 years. As soon as real estate goes up a little bit, we are looking to rent this house out and buy a half an acre or more with a nice smaller home, probably in Cherry Valley. See you in March!!
Thanks,
Chuck
Chuck:
I'm really from Oklahoma, but have lived in Menifee for the last 21 years. Thanks for the greeting! : )
Cherry Valley is lovely. We used to take the boys up there to pick cherries. My DH ate as many as he put in the basket. LOL! : )
Looking forward to meeting you too in March! Or you could come out for our Tree Lighting Ceremony this Saturday at 6:00 pm and help us sing fractured Christmas Carols, around the fire ring. Everyone is welcome. Dmail me if you'd like more info. Sending photo of DH in front of fire ring.

LOL....with that kind of invitation and this group of people, you're likely to get a bunch showing up at your place Sat at 6! I'd be there, but am scheduled to do a farmers' market Sunday and I'll be loading, etc. Everyone usually has a good time when we get together.
I am so looking forward to March!
WIB,
SW
Me too!

Twin Lakes Chef,
I don't think I have seen you for quite a while. Really looking forward to seeing you again in March.
Take care,
Chuck
I'd say me Four! but I started it. Chuck and twinlakeschef, this RU is going to be fun! Can't wait, I'm more excited about the RU than Christmas.

SW
Look forward to seeing you and your lovely wife, Chuck. SW, it will be great to meet you.
Ditto!

Uh oh, Kathleen...this is getting a lot of hype...but don't feel pressured, OK ? Sounds like you may need to hire staff for this, valet parking, port-a-potty's and bartenders...lol
I need money for more plants...I'll take one of those jobs.
I'll help since I fully intend on bringing home more plants too. :o) Why can I not just have to work for plants and someone else pay my bills?

DH says he's the parking attendant...just leave your keys at the door and he'll pick the one he wants. LOL
Now that the visitors are leaving and I'm fully recovered from my cold, I have no excuses for not getting some work done in the garden. Everything needs cutting back and weeds need spraying, etc.
I wish it were time to cut things back here. I am sure I will get a couple more freezes so I need that thing they call patience.
If anyone planning to attend the March gather at Kathleen's would like either salvia Anthony Parker or s. dorisiana, please speak up now and I will start some cuttings rooting this week.
Pretty please may I have some of your salvia Anthony Parker and s. dorisiana? : )
Is there something I can bring you? Let me know.
WIB,
SW
Hi, I'd love some Anthony Parker... as I sit here in 23* temps and 3 inches of snow covering my garden, it is lovely to contemplate a new Anthony salvia in my garden. I only get one season from him, but he is so worth the effort.
>See y'all in March< ~Blooms
Well, my gosh...look who turned up! Are you going to make it here in March, Blooms? Are you driving? You'll need a headstart with Anthony in your growing season and I can bring you a larger one if you're driving.....let me know.
Okay, SW...dorisiana and Anthony....
Yep, am driving. Will be headed to 'Spin's in February and staying thru your mini RU and would love any size at all. Am always hauling plants home from California. ssshh. Y'all have neat plants and great nurseries out there. T'anx.
Okey-dokey.....
I don't think that they care what you take out of CA, just the plants that you bring in. LOL! Look forward to meeting you!

I've been practically anihilated with a sinus infection for the last month - six weeks and haven't been on DG. Will be glad to meetcha SW and re-meet the dizzy dozen or so I have meet a couopla times already.
holding my head over my steamer in hpes of helping the clearing mechanisms. ~Blooms
ugh...a sinus infection. Those are killers. I had a really bad one once and had to have my sinuses "irrigated"...it was like putting your head under water in a hot bathtub and breathing in through your nose for 10 minutes without coming up for air.
Drowning wouldn't be half as bad !
Blooms, someone on DG recommended this (it was rec by their doctor). http://www.neilmed.com/usa/index.php
Similar but older method is a Neti pot http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=neti+pot&spell=1 which I have used and find very helpful.
Hope you are better soon - I agree, JD, they are killers.
Gosh, Blooms, I hope you feel better by now. I've been having some issues with a virus, so I know how it goes. I am looking forward to meeting you at the RU in March too! Something that works when my chronic sinus infections return, and I know it sounds weird, but MIL told me to try it and it helps. After you get out of the hot, steamy shower (clear your nose while you are in there), is to (very important) sit down, and having a clean pair of socks handy, coat the bottom of your foot with Vick's mentholatum. Then insert foot into sock. It'll feel weird and I usually do this around bedtime, but I always feel better in the morning for having done it.
Jas, take note of the above. It sounds like having your sinuses irrigated is like drowning on dry land. No fun for anyone!
KC, you always come up with the best stuff.
WIB,
SW
