What's wrong with my Red Oak?

I noticed a few leaves with these brown splotches a month or so ago on my TX Red Oak but now I have some more. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to treat it? Thanks!

In some of my shrubs, I get this browning at the edges when they are stressed due to heat and lack of soil moisture issues. Make sure that you provide at least 1" of water weekly. As always, slow and deep watering in the early morning hours is best.
