Hi All!
I got several plants from a nursery yesterday and the woman at nursery told me the names of those, but either that she was wrong about the name or it was a local name or I am spelling it wrong. I tried all spelling combinations but came upon with nothing online. Hope some you can identify this (She said Iphorphea?????):
Identifying game again... :D
Could it be Costus Igneus (spiral ginger) I am going by the shape of the flower/leaf etc rather than anything else, but I think they would develop maybe darker colour underside of the leaves, this is just a guess though, Good Luck. WeeNel.
Hi WeeNel,
I found the plant's name with the help of an expert at the forum at flowersofindia.net. It is Pereskia corrugata (Pereskia bleo), commonly known as "Rose Cactus" or "Wax Rose".
Thanks a bunch :)
WOW, would never have guessed that name as I have never heard of it before, so thanks so much for getting back to me on the name, so glad your problem was solved though and now you can just plant them out and enjoy them. good luck. WeeNel.
