ge the low growing sedum is sieboldii varigated #2 / sieboldi mediovariegatum - first saw it in either white farms or wayside - it likes sun - really very nice when it blooms - one of my favorites
Garden Photos - Part 33
Thanks Bill I' will look for it next season, thats definate.
Maybe Hallsons have it but they are pricey.
Great shots. Hope to get back out and take some on this great day. Deb, sweet pea has returned for me every year for four years now.
ge if you receive either of those catalogs it also has another "common" name it goes by.
Thanks I'll keep an eye out for it.
Great pics everyone. Have had to try to catch up on all of the posts. Really like all the garden shots. With the little rain my garden is starting to look like late sept more than the end of aug. Here are a few things still doing a decent job even with the lack of any good rain.
Echinacea 'Hope' is still sending out new blooms.
Nice little hawk there!!!
Are the turkys harmfull?
They look like tourists.
There are four of them that seem to think they own the place. So far they have not done any damage to the garden. They stay out back except to go roost in the tall trees out front at night. They eat pretty well by the bird feeder and then lounge on the grass in the backyard for a while. Most of the day they are near by in the woods and return for supper and bedtime in the late afternoon.
Yeaah like I said tourists.
they sure are funny
ge nice stone path by your shade garden!
I have all three, plus Aphrodite. Lots of fragrance these days!
Yes the stems are like your gouachamole ,flowers at the top of the stem.
My gouachamoles are not big enough to flower maybe next year.
I like the Royal Standard title so it stays.
Do you have a shot of the whole abelia? Love that one.
I'll try for one. I think I missed the best of the bloom. Just noticed it today.
