LOL Bev! Maybe they will survive!

I like the light blue streak in this one. I wonder if I try crossing this with Heaven;y Blue if I could get a baby-blue one with dark blue streaks??

Nice yellow roses.
I know what you mean, I have iris from the co-op, plus some other plants, plus some rearranging to do, not sure when I can get to it. Probably can't do anything heavy for at least 2-3 weeks. I wonder if I can sit and dig. Certainly don't want to rip open my incision, but I'm already tired of sitting around, I'm anxious to get in the garden.

Deb, I wish I lived closer I'd come dig for you! But speaking of iris's & digging, I owe you one and will be getting to it this week or next. I too have some from the co-ops and I need to make room.
All my company has left for the summer so I can finally get the iris bed dug up and thinned out and finish my new bed. UGH!

'Purple Paw Print' is still in bloom....this little flower is really amazing. At one time I had over 100 of them, I think i'm down to 7 clumps now. I need to thin them down just a bit more! LOL

Yes, my RS is in bloom for a while now - exquisite fragrance. Nice shots, Celeste. I still have a few DL's in bloom and now a few repeat clems.

Deb, don't push yourself. Take pictures and do little things if you must. Collect seeds or cut flowers to bring in. This guy has at least one instar to go. He was still pretty small when I spotted him today.

That yucca is a beauty. I started one from seed. After 2 summers in the garden it's still about 6" tall. It may never bloom :(

this is my little dianthus 'Rachel' putting out one last bloom

Pixie, your Purple Pawprint that resides in my garden is still blooming, too. It's one of my earliest and then just keeps going like the energizer bunny. Blue Lustre is pretty, too.

Here's 'Angel Face', lovely fragrance

Another one greedily gobbling nectar from the mimosa. A very messy tree, but the hummers, bees and butterflies love it.

Nice pics venu. love swallowtails, I'm amazed that they still fly with that wing damage.

Thomaston, CT

The butterflies are wonderful--I've not had as many as usual--too cool & wet of a summer here, I guess. I've found dahlias in 2 places where I don't recall planting them this year----I think they are last year's, & almost ready to bloom---this is one I DO recall planting---it's in my veggie garden.
