Does anyone know what kind of plant this is? It was growing near the sidewalk by a house in downtown Raleigh, NC. I collected some seed pods off the sidewalk and would like to know how to grow them. Any ideas anyone?

The pods turn from purple to brown on the vine.
Open them up & you'll find the beans inside.
They're black with white edge.
Plant them in the spring. They're fast growers.
