Calico Flower/ Artistolochia elegans What do I do next?

Fairmont, WV

This is a picture of a Calico Flower I started from seed in the spring. It has been setting on my back porch all summer. Part sun/shade. This is all the bigger it has gotten. I know nothing about them. I guess I will take it in this winter and try to keep it alive. I am in zone 6, will it be ok outside as a perennial or should I keep bringing it in each year. I thought it would have gotten bigger this summer. But it did say it took a long time to germinate and it did. Thanks for all your help.

If it is truly Aristolochia elegans it is not hardy in your area. It's a zone 8-10 plant. If it is another type of Aristolochia,it may be winter hardy.Do you have any more information from the seed packet?

I wouldn't take a plant indoors that's been sitting outside all summer, as you are risking taking bugs in to infest your housplants, if you have any.
