I have to back down. My sisters caregiver may have TB and I now have to take care of my sister while my mom is in Europe. And I have to make sure mom wont stress before she goes on her trip. I can send some money as promised for the bbq just let me know where. I am so very sorry. I have to do this. Maybe at the next one you will welcome this okie to your RU. This hurts me more than you know. Please forgive me.

I'm going to have to cancel on the homemade potato salad. We have decided to visit relatives near Mineola a few days ahead of the RU, and I don't want to risk making it that far ahead and trying to keep it cold enough to be safe. I can stop on Saturday and buy a couple of quarts of potato salad. Surely we will pass a grocery store.
If I am reading correctly, everyone who plans to eat barbecue is asked to chip in on the cost? If that is right, put me down for a couple of servings. My husband, Robert, is coming with me.
i would like to have bar b que, also. but my daughter does really like it. so, one for me, please.

I've been to trades with people here in Ozarks and DH decided i could'nt go alone LOL. Think he had more fun than i did. My family had no problems with me coming. hmmmmmm DD is coming with me!!!! Just kidding. She wants some plants.

I'm going to be a first timer at your RU. Looks like the BBQ is covered as well as side dishes. I will bring a dessert and plastic cups. How does that sound? If you think of something else, holler.

I think the count is around 34 for far am figuring one DG person and one guest per person unless I am told otherwise and I know some will be only one person where others might have more then one with them.

Yes, again all, the rules are if you want to receive a door prize you need to bring one, and it can be anything as long as it's nice...something you would be proud to get. Homemade, crafts, garden or bath stuff, whatever.

I have added all of my family coming as going in on the BBQ also. So we now have 20 saying they want to go in on it. I am believing we need to get 10 lbs, for 40-45 people.
That is $100 so it will be $5 each for those chipping in. That is if we all agree we want to buy BBQ for everyone, because the others will be bringing the other things to go with it and the plates & utensils & such. If this is not ok with everyone let me know and we will work out how to do this...
We now have 22 going in on BBQ, which puts us at $4.50 each going in on BBQ and will buy enough BBQ for others who are bringing other stuff... I do not have a headcount of all attending including guests, but I am estimating 40 to 45...

I am sure as the day gets closer we will have plenty of food.. we sure did in July.... I am bringing 6 packs of wieners and 5 buns.. that will make 60 hotdogs with no left overs( you know.. buns verses wieners..lol).. and the dessert, but I can also bring a side, if we need it.. I'll just wait to see what others are bringing. I'll also bring at least 1 gallon of sweet tea, but if others want any LMK.. I am a big tea drinker!!
I'm in on the BBQ but can bring some beans or slaw or even a dessert. Some one just LMK, by the middleof next week, what we need the most.
Planolinda will not be able to make it this time.... she's sorry, but a conflict came up.
So, if anyone wants to bring her Chips and Dips on the list above, please speak up.
If not, I'll do it.
ok edited the list at the top so IF I missed something or put it in wrong let me know and keep in mind a few are waiting to see what is needed and will be bringing where we lack.
did I mention I was bringing Darlene wtih me she is from Hawkins and is new to gardening she will someday once date is set be my daughters mother in law LOL and I'm sure she will help out too with bringing something to add.
