Alrighty now since y'all are asking about the food here is the thread for it.
Let's decide on what we are going to do here and WHO is going to be in charge of taking care things at the park.
I am taking it that y'all want to do potluck as before?
homemade or store bought either one works or even helping someone closer with the cost of making something works too for those that are traveling a distance and want to help out.

Ok but as I said above if you want to get with someone closer that is coming then maybe share to cost on whatever is being made or maybe they can make it for you and reimburse them for it when you get here.
I think I'm going to bring a huge box of fried chicken to this one, maybe a salad if I feel like it.

I'll be bringing 2 DGers with me who are traveling to my house on Fri, and riding to the RU Sat morn with me. So, I'll bring enough for them as well. Let's see... I'll bring a cooler of assorted sodas, and some chips and dips, and an assortment of pickles... how's that?
sounding good to me I of course will wait and see what is needed once everyone puts in and fill in the gap and make something too ...cause I'm not sure what I'll make this time LOL

OK kids we are almost a month away so let us know what ya are gonna bring for food or if you want to get together with someone else if you are traveling and share the cost on something that works too just tryin to help wtih ideas to make things easy and have room for plants and how many are comin with ya.

I haven't told my daughter about this yet, she had a fit whenI went to my first RU, couldn't believe I was going off to meet up with a bunch of people I had never met. She was sure it was a big plot to get me off in the woods and murder me. LOL, how did I raise such a child?
Hmmmm..... My house guest is coming from Del Rio, and another from Plano... I invited someone from Norman, but she hasn't confirmed yet... I'll get with them and have them confirm something with one of us.
I just spent Labor Day Weekend with some DG friends in Birmingham. Had a wonderful time. But before I left my DH warned that I might be being lured there to made a sex slave out of... didn't happen... shucks.
