Morning everyone! Rise and shine, another beautiful day of gardening! I was telling Maggi earlier this week I made a pathway out of 12 bags of red mulch. That night, an awful thunder buster flood rolled through, and my yard is on a downward slope. I now have mulch everywhere in my yard but on the path. I had also thrown out $80.00 of Dichondra seeds that washed away :(
I have been so sad I haven't wanted to touch it but today is bright and sunny and the world is good, so out I go! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Uh......oh.......just found out today there's a snafu in my plans for Oct. 11, both GD's have Volleyball games in Blue Ridge Friday night...I may be on hold unless I can come up with a plan for the girls...I suppose if nothing else I can take my trades to Pam's or Maggie's on Sunday, and pick up what I'm getting from there...trying to get the timeshare for that weekend, so maybe can be there Saturday afternoon till Sunday afternoon....what to do...what to do..

What time do the round up's usually get over? I would think that we would still be around at least chatting our little heads off???

They get over when everyone leaves we have the pavilion from 10am - 9pm or whenever we are done if before 9pm LOL
umm I'll have to look and see what if anything else is going on in the area but there is the rose garden in town you can walk through, but there is a fee for that.
Harris nursery, Chamblee's Rose Nursery and Tyler water gardens are on 69 ..I know Chamblee's closes around 4:30ish

I'm sure I can make it around noonish or 1 p.m....that's about the size of it. the girls, one JV and the other V, can sleep in the car on the way down...if I can get the timeshare that weekend, then they won't even have to come with me and DH or DIL....still working on the finer points..

Sexton's has 3-5 rack wagons out in front with all plants $4 each I picked up 4 bushes yesterday mostly roses are out there some have names some don't

Phyllis... I am sooo glad you like roses..LOL.. I don't like many, but I do have a bunch I started from my GMothers old rose. I have an OLD climbing rose.. it's a lighter pink I think... Beautiful blooms, and it will root wherever it touches the ground..lol... I keeep digging it up.. and it keeps coming back.. you want it?? ..LOL... or anyone else??
