a plain yellow candy lily. it's growing right next to a purple and yellow one, so the plain yellow is nice.
Garden Photos - Part 32
my 'wall' of Physostegia 'Pink Bouquet' (obedient plant). I had no idea it would get this big when I planted it, never mind that it would spread. I've already dug some up and given it away and I'm going to move some of it. I'll have tons of seed if anyone wants some. It's really pretty. I winter sowed some lavender and white ('Miss Manners') to plant with it.
Beautiful roses, Jan! I like the heath too - I have some in bloom now as well.
Such great photos from everyone. It's always such a joy for me to wake up and 'wander down everyone's garden paths'. That you very much for sharing them with me.
Grampapa your roses are very beautiful. Do the fairytale roses resist fungal diseases well?
Nice butterfly shots Victor. I find the swallowtail b-flies the hardest to get a pic of because they hardly ever sit still.
Boojum all your DL are very pretty, mine are all done now. The long shot of your garden bed is very pretty also. The lime green mound in the lower right of the pic, is that a type of thyme or what?
Good eye, ngam. I love that lime in front. It's a heath or heather. I think it's the heaths that are low, right? I can look at the label if you'd like a real name. It's a slow grower-been there for 6 years. But it's 4' wide now.
I have dls into October-I've extended my season with lots of late and very late bloomers. I have 2 clumps that are just setting buds now. Check out Olallie if you want an extended dl season. Or you can come visit me first and we'll both go to visit Olallie in VT.
