I have found lots of seeds on my Million Bells I just wondered if anyone has had luck planting them. Is there anything special I have to do to them?? I love them I just hate buying them each year...
Has anyone had luck planting Million Bells Seeds???
patunias?? i managed some how to get petunia's to come up this year from last year, here in chicago (brrrrrrrr)! BUT we also cut a few trees down last summer.....and i used the saw dust to mix in w/ my mulch and cover all my containers, just to see what would happen, and a few diffrent anuals bloomed! (in containers left outside all winter)
I'm pretty sure you can just plant them in the spring where you want them once it warms up--just follow planting directions for petunias. I didn't think that Million Bells produced seeds which is part of the reason the plants are so pricey. Cool that yours did but since they are hybrids they might not look exactly like the plant that you got the seed from, could revert to the parent plants. Good luck with them!
Be sure to post again if you get plants and flowers so we can see what happens:)
