I was in Texas in July, spent one day on the gulf coast, went running into the water to cool off but no way. It was like a bath tub, I came out just as hot as when I went in. I could never deal with all that hot.

I live on a dirt road so I have no idea what dust is....LOL
My DD was stationed there for 4 years, it drove her crazy, nobody ever went outside. It was her first tour and she really missed New England. Well maybe not the snow, but being able to do the things she was use to. She has been avoiding getting stationed in the south ever since.
Peg we need the rain. I think that front is moving up here and I cannot wait! Our weather has not been that bad the last week or so. Much better than the usual 90's of August.

Bonnie.. yeah.. the Dr will start the steroid injection this next Friday..not tomorrow..lol series of 3 one week apart.. He doesn't think they'll help.. he said he wondered why the other Dr wanted to do them before SURGERY... WELL.. I told him I didn't want surgery.. lets do the steroids!! He also wants to talk with Lyles pain management Dr before he does the med pump.. I am glad and I hope they say NO.. that is a last ditch effort to me.. the med pump is..

Joyce, the roots stayed on and the plant looked as if it had just been removed from the mother. Not hurt at all. thank you again, I'm so happy. Gee...one would think I know what to do with these plants, but ...oh boy, not true. Have lot's to learn.

Wow, I just realized, you are from Mo. We were stationed in Knob Noster for a few years, Talk about small towns. The base (Whiteman) was a missle base then. I think all the missles are gone now? Anyway, we used to go shopping in Kasas city, on the week-ends. Loved the BBQ there. I liked Mo, it was a nice place. I have an Aunt that lives in Wright city, on the other side of the state, by St. Louis.
