I know there were lots of kids all ages last year. When we start the headcount they will usually say kids.
Hey y'all! Ashley, the kids, and I are still going to come. I've been absolutely swamped here at the depot, and as most of you know, I don't have the internet at home, so I haven't had near as much time as I would like to get on DG. Hopefully, I can get a trade list put together in the next 9 days. I can't wait to see y'all again and meet some new gardeners.....new to me anyways!

At this point the only thing I have to offer is a mature Lantana Horrida. If anyone wants it, I will dig it up and send it via Pattie. I love Lantana, but I've got one-too-many growing off the patio. Otherwise, I'm afraid I've got naught to share this year.

We mighjt bring our dog. Last here he was still a pup but remained well beahved (he didn't like seeing a toddler fall down though - I guess he started barking cause he thought she was hurt?) He'll probably just lay down and watch. I dunno, we may not have room for him and plants!
I could also bring my Kubb game (kinda like a cross between horseshoes and chess) if there are any older kids/teens/adults that would like to paly a yard game.

I wouldn't want to increase the burden of whoever is grilling without their approval, but I could prep some bacon-wrapped pickled watermelon rind appetizers. They are awesome! Otherwise we might bring something (last year we brought a Splenda sweetend sugar-free cole slaw - we can do that if ya'll want.)

Carl....The food stuff sounds great, especially the sf coleslaw. But I think Josephine said we weren't going to grill this time; there isn't any electricity there either.
Yes that is right, the cooking was too hard to keep up with, and the persons doing it didn't get to join the fun as much, but coleslaw sounds great. I will be starting a thread for food in a week or two.
