Banana tree - most cold hardy - sent one to chicago this summer - not edible - look at plant files or my list - Musa Basjoo - sometimes they look like they are dead - but they come back - 2 yrs ago when we had those ice storms - I was sure they died - just procrastinating about pulling them up - then new leaves - in fall when it starts to get cold - you stop watering them or they'll rot - lost one that way - but one came up from the root right next to it
