Hi,
Is there a wind, snow and ice tolerant flowering tree out there? I want to use it on the side of my driveway. Any suggestions? I'm in zone 5b. Full sun but can be windy.

Sorry, you can't grow these, but, it is a pretty tree>
Have you thought about magnolia?
some I have heard can go to zone 4
There are purple and yellow flowering varieties and of course the creamy white - cup shaped, lily shaped, star and fringed...
Some with dark brown centers
Some very very fragrant
Not sure about the wind issue - but I have two that have been frozen solid --thick coat of ice on leaves, etc. without problems.
