Need new tree for frontyard-20ft. max/sun tolerant/beautiful

What can I plant that will look great/ sun tolerant because I live in CA-can get over 100 degrees sometimes. Love green or evergreen with flowing branches-prefer drooping branches rather than conservative form. 20ft max height.

Try doing a search on Chionanthus, aka Fringe Tree
May be "iffy" in your zone, but maybe not.
I think you're in zone 9 ???
