Not sure if I am in the right place to post this but all my Canna's are being eaten by something. The leaves are like skeletons. Is it snails eating them? Please help

Look on the back of the leaves. I am losing green matter to
'rose slugs or pear slugs'....flat little transluscent 1/3-1/2 inch long flatworm.. Lots of little 'pepper ' spots as debris--hitting oak seedling.. I try to cotain by schooming them..cannot use chemicals because of pets. '
