As far as I know, Marion, Kim's been busy with work, and as long as it's not snowing, she'll be working.

I just got through boxing up CIJ swap. So, tomorrow, I better push my behind to start on that glass jar. Kel hasn't used the diamond bit wheel yet, probably he'll attempt to cut something this weekend!

Life here is pretttyyy good. Dere be nine chats and T-Mike don't trust dem no.
In the morning, you see lapin (rabbit) hoppin' about. Meh, Beignet is tinkin of having one of dose lapin for gumbo.

N'oncle Kel talks funny Maman. He sez "Over yonder", "Yaawn to?", "Look yonder'" and he keeps on blessin' our hearts??? Do you know why Maman?
He also makes more funny sounds than Papere.. You know the kind you say "POOOOOOOOOOH YIEEEEE" after dat and hold your nose real good?
But he a good man just like Papere. He got us a big 4 inch flat screen one of dem plasma tv to watch dat tiger game finals over and over.
Tante Jaye got plenty dem grenouilles (frogs). But she don't cook dem no! She sez dey to protect her garden from bugs. Meh, our jobs sure iz easy here.

Tell everybody we say hi and God willin', we be home for de boucherie and a good cup of Community coffee.

Hey wait a minute gals!! Share with all of us please. Had a taste when I went on trips to NO with hubby. Oh my yes, back when you could have raw oysters on the half shell--those were the days for sure!! Could drink back then. Geez, looks like a fell apart!

A Gris-gris is a Voodoo charm or spell. A lot of times it's a little bag with stuff in it that is supposed to bring good luck ,bad luck, money, love, protection or whatever the wearer wants it for.
