You take the nicest pictures Rose. That Cardinal is the brightest red I have ever seen! I am preparing my yard for the winter birds (weeding, cutting back, etc)......I sure hope my Painted Buntings and Indigo Buntings return....last winter I also enjoyed seeing a lot of Goldfinch, and would love to see them again also.

GP...thank you so much, I do love taking pics of these birds. I am still waiting to get a look at a Painted Bunting...so far no luck...maybe next year. I don't know when the Indigo's will be leaving but at least I will see them on your posts! You are the one that got me so crazy to see one and I've been so happy to host them.

As you already know the Indigo's and Goldfinches get along very well!

pelle......The last two days have been fairly clear. It all depends on the wind direction. Yesterday I almost died. When I got up I couldn't see the air, so I thought someone had stolen it, so I held my breath for a long as I could until I realized it was OK to breathe.

We have been seeing small flocks of geese in the last week flying south...hard to believe!
