Got a soaker hose today....mom's gonna try it out & see how it goes; shall see
Also got some "Grant's Stump Remover" granules. Need to drill holes in stump, put granules in, then hot water to fill hole. It is suppose to quicken the decomposing of the stump so you can remove it. I will be happy if it just stops it from growing. Mom's taking slips off as they come up for MIL & me. Will drill the holes & fill later ~~ in the fall, when everything goes dormant....
Need to work on the iris's we just got and those to come. Make the Iris Bed (literally). Along with the Daylillies & Hostas to follow........ and, and, and.........

That's what the 'teens / young men' are here for. They know they get to work this weekend, hence the all nighter last night. They'll be tired when I'm done with 'em! lol

So I was out and about today and there's Nandina in gallon pots for sale everywhere. The problem is that most of the labeling is gone and you should make sure you know what size it's going to be. Also, I'm not so sure it'll work in a shady location. Mine is indeed under a fir tree, but the tree's limbed way up and there aren't any other trees close, so the Nandina does get lots of sun.

Fred Meye has lots of garden stuff on sale . . .

Gonna have to check Freddy's. Didn't see a lot of 'sales' today - what's left seems to be indoor plants. Didn't look to hard, I was on another mission(s).... This area has no sun, if I remember correctly.

Tilly, We still on for sometime in Sept? Let me know what works best for you - as you can see above, have some more work for 'teen' to help with. Also have a small list going for him at home. Lucky for me, he has his eye on something & needs money. lol. So, I get more than the normal chores out of him.... This is how mom's work. Better pay if honest work & no complaining about extra work OR normal chores.... Win, win for me!

Cheryl? - Check the Farmers markets. Mom and I got tons of plants for $5. A box full, I got 13, I'm not sure how many mom got. All annuals, but most of the one's I got will self seed. The Freddy's up here had some sales, but not that good.
