I think this is a mandevilla... anyway, it has been growing like mad, but so far hasn't bloomed... Also, any special thing I need to do over winter? I assumed I would just bring it in and water occassionally but tell me if I am wrong. Thanks
Mandevilla ready to bloom?
Mandevillas need lots of sun and as hot as it is down here it's best in the sun at least 3/4 of the day. Have you fertilized? Looks as if it is getting plenty of water - maybe a bit much? I would try more sun first as it is in a pot and can be easily moved if it is getting too much sun. In the winter it needs to come in the house and be put in a south facing window and allowed to dry out somewhat. It is a very tender perennial even here in Houston. Lots of luck on making that puppy flourish.
Ann
Thanks Ann, its in alot of sun now and gets lots to eat. I guess I just need to be patient! We have had record amounts of rain this year here in Toronto, but lots of sun in between torential showers. Where is Katy?
