I am looking for ideas for an instant hedge to cover a 16ft stretch of new neighbors upstairs window view and fence. I need something that would be at least 12ft tall. Does that even sound possible. There is a lot of Arbavita in this area, but I'm not sure if it is reasonable to start out planting at 12ft tall. does that sound unreasonable? Plus, can't drive into our backyard with equipment, so it would be limited to wheelbarrows and small equipment that can fit through a 3 ft gate at the side of our home.
Any ideas??
Hedge instant, tall, quick, year long in Pacific Northwest
I've never heard of anything other than an olive tree that you can plant when it's 12 feet tall. Have thought about English Privet Hedge? It will grow very fast, won't cover those pesky windows immediately, but within a couple years it definitely will
