I have four of these and I forgot what they are. I have lost one of them and I need to replace it. From what I can remember, it is a "Cranberry" something. Any guesses? Thanks for the help!
What bush is this?
Wish I could help, but I've never seen this type of plant before. Good luck, hope someone has the answer for you.
Cranberry Cotoneaster?
Lynn
Sorry, don't think that's correct.Do you have a picture of the whole shrub?

It is definitely a Cotoneaster variety, however I don't know which one to be exact. I have several different varieties and trimmed up my creping variety this morning. The berries are great for the birds in the winter time. I could see that yours are starting to come out.
Well, maybe I'm not far off.I thought is was Cotoneaster, but I'm not sure which. There is one catalogues call "Cranberry Cotoneaster",but it's berries seem smaller than these.

I agree that in the pic. yours looks like larger berries and thicker leaves. There are so many diff. variety of cotoneaster, that it may be hard to attempt an ID by photo alone. What I usually do when I forget a plant or fail to note a location is take a cutting of one of the living ones with you to the nursery where you bought it at. If you can't find a match, ask an employee to attempt to identify it for you.
Well, from what I remember from the tag, it was a "cranberry" something, it grows to be 3'x3', and when I planted them in the spring, they had tiny pink flowers on them. now they are starting to berry. The branches are very stiff, no thorns, and they seem to be spreading out more than gaining height at this point. oh. and they like full sun.
