I have a weeping pea shrub that is actually a tree that was planted a year ago. It seemed fine until about 10 days ago when the leaves started to turn yellow and now almost all of them are yellow. I don't know why - is it too much water, not enough water,? There does not seem to be any insect problem. The tree faces west and we live in Windsor, ON.
help with weeping pea shrub-tree
Can you post a picture? A watering issue is always my first suspect with yellowing leaves, but too much and too little cause very similar symptoms so usually the only way to tell which one is to stick your finger down in the soil and see how it feels. I don't think these need a ton of water so I'd tend to suspect too much water rather than too little, but the only way to know for sure is to check the soil. If the soil feels fine now but you had a lot of rain recently then it could be from that too, nothing you can really do in that case but wait and see if it recovers.
