Osee comes inside

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, mo.

The vet recommended what I had already started yesterday - mixing the old food with the new diet. He's eating now, but is able to pick out his old food since it is much larger in size. I am dissolving the meds and giving with an eye dropper. Working better, though Crash is not very happy.

Got the kittens! Photos to follow. They are separated from Crash, and will remain so for a few days.

Hugs and kisses to Crash.

Yay! kitten pictures...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Nance.

And their names are . . . drum roll . . . .

Not yet...

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Not and Yet are very cute indeed! The second one looks suspiciously like Osee. Maybe he's not neutered.

Louise.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that was a good one!!!!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

cute kittins Victor. Nice shots too, theyre hard to photograph, jumping and playing around so much.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks ladies. Actually, number two has a name. Both in the vet's office when they let us play with them and as soon as we got them home, he just took off running. Anyone who saw The Incredibles will know why we named him Dash. Also, cute that he rhymes with Crash. The other one is much more shy so far (my son suggested Bash-ful). Hope he warms up to his new digs soon. Crash knows something is up!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Its always sad to see two motherles kittins wanting grownup companionship and being turned down.
Lets hope Crash wants some young pals and becomes fatherly. It could happen.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm sure they will bond at some point.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I m sure too, sometimes its a rough start.
My older cat recognized Ben and Jerry and then left them completely alone to jazz it up with each other.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Victor, do realize if you go with Bash, you'll have part of the alphabet tied up ...bc&d.
Osee goes to the vet tomorrow. I may end up as Gash! Vaccinate the cat, but suture me :)

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh boy Victor is starting to get like Michele and I

Tily (bless her soul), Wily, Jily and Lily

:)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No Nily??

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nope no phily.. milly, silly or any of those... YET

:)

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

An how are the little curtain climbers today? :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very well, thanks. The shy one is warming up and I introduced Dash to Crash for a few minutes. Crash hissed a bit but it went a lot better than I expected.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Are you going to name the shy one Smash? Goes with the theme . . .

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Maybe do an opposite thing and call him Flash!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I like Flash. Sounds like a super hero!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Flash would interrupt the alphabet continuity, but still a good name for a cat. Especially a shy one....he was gone in a flash!!
Osee got a clean bill of health at the vet today. He got rabies, distemper, blood drawn for FELV (negative) pilled for worms just in case, and vaccinated for FELV.
I thought of you Victor as the vet pilled him for worms. Doc looked at me and said that was the easiest pilling of a cat he ever did. I totally understood as I used to work for him and we both know how difficult cats can be. I thought of you right away:) Here he is relaxing on the Giants after a tough day. Good Kitty

Great to hear about Osee, Weeze. I did order the Pill Pockets. Hopefully they will help.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Osee is really quite the handsome one!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

He was almost yours AYC:)
I paid the bill and then they gave me smelling salts to revive me :) :) OOHH Boy I have a 200 dollar stray cat and a ten thousand dollar stray Lab and good ole Casey the mix. Wouldn't trade any of them for the world.
Victor, good luck with the pill pockets, but I'm tempted to drive up and show the slick and quick method. They don't even know what happened and no $$$ invovled.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Weeze - sorry, one more cat and I receive my official Crazy Cat Lady certificate in the mail. I'd also have to take a third job to pay for food, litter, catnip and cat toys. People rave about orange cats - somehow they are just special.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

You are lucky in that orange cat.
I guess you already knew he was special .That color is just beautiful

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Weeze. How about a quick video on YouTube??

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Does that mean I would have to invest in a camcorder and then figure out how to use it and then figure out how to link it?? lol

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Or you can borrow one and then find a 12 year old who probably knows how to do all that!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

That's the ticket!!

Crash meeting Dash the other day.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

aaaaaawwwwwwww... how cute

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

What a nice picture! Crash does't look too upset - I think they will be OK.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. Crash has been very nice with them. A pleasant surprise.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

AAAHHHhhhhhhhh again. They look very adorable together. It makes me think of Rodney King.....why can't we all get along?? Looks like you have a win-win situation Victor. Good for you
