montauk daisies

Basking Ridge, NJ

Anyone know if these plants are deer salad...I love how they look in gardens and that they bloom later, but I have have to spray for
deer frequently.
Thanks!

I think they're supposed to be on the list of deer "resistant" plants (but that may depend on how hungry the deer get, LOL)...

Did you see this great DG article about them? http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/1121/

Mine are deer resistant. Some of the few that are. The deer have munched on so many of my plants this year. I guess the drought is affecting everything.

They haven't eaten mine yet either. But like critterologist said, that could be subject to change--it all depends on how hungry they are. There's not much a hungry deer won't eat. Hopefully since I finally got 3 1/2 inches of rain this morning, our deer will not be getting in my flowerbeds.

Brodheadsville, PA

I have had mine for 3 years now and the deer (which are rampant up here in the Poconos) have never touched it, neither have the bunnies or anything else for that matter. They are beautiful!
