I've gardened a lot and have had this problem a lot. The first picking of green and yellow beans is perfect: lovely, well-formed, flawless beans.
The following pickings show beans that have little holes in them, as if some bug dug a hole and then left. There are no worms or anything like that INSIDE the beans, just these little holes along the beans. Most of the beans have a few holes, some have a lot and a few have none?
Does anyone know what is doing this damage? Is there an organic solution?
Thanks.
What's poking holes in my beans
Probably bean beetles

Maybe birds? Do you notice them hanging around? They ate my broccoli this spring, until we put up birdnetting. I hear they love beans, but this is my first garden.
