TREE ID! HELP!!

Griffin, GA

This small tree has been mowed over twice and keeps coming back! It is growing fast, next to a chain link fence. I have tried identifying this tree with no luck. Someone please tell me what it is!!!!!!!!

It does resemble a sumac but if you want a positive ID I'd suggest that you post your pictures on the Plant ID forum http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/plantid/all/

Not sure what it is. But because you've mowed it over a couple times it's going to be multi-stemmed like a bush.

Bardstown, KY(Zone 6a)

Looks like Smooth Sumac to me.

My guess is that it is Wisteria....I have one...and I don't see much difference. PS I love mine...and you are lucky to have the chain link fence for it to climb...also it twines clockwise....
Have fun with it!

I agree, it's looking very shrubby. My advice is to search the neighborhood, as plants often will have a relative growing near by. Ask your neighbors, esp. if they profess to be gardeners with a capital 'G' ! Folks love to advise, as you can tell from these discussion groups.
