Hello! I`m starting a year intensive course in Commercial Floristry in Sept. I will have to learn the Latin names for all cut blooms. Is there a book, web site that I can use to get ahead of the game?
Thanks.
Latin names for cut flowers
Plant files here on DG should give you that information.

The library or if you can afford it a good book or encyclopedia of flowers. I have one that I bought when I was in London - "Botanica" published by Barnes and Noble. It is 900 pages of flowering plants, both common and Latin names.

Best of luck in the new career
