My tomato success boxes came with a jar of fertilizer. I mixed half of it in the soil when I planted the tomatoes and have instructions to 'side dress' the plants 4 to 6 weeks later. Do I just sprinkle the fertilizer on the soil?
Side dressing?
Not sure what these 'tomato success boxes' are, however, side dressing is just a term whereby you go out about 6" from the base of the plant and dig in the soil a bit to add the fertilizer, then cover back up with soil.
Thank you : )

Looks like an Earth Box
Those are my Black Krims in a Tomato success kit from Gardeners Supply .... YUM. Last year I grew the BK's in the ground. There was a very low yield, 5 or 6 fruits per plant. The worst part is that some critter in the garden decided it liked BK tomatoes. I didn't get to eat one.
Wow! Thanks for posting your photos. I don't have a Tomato Success Kit, but bought one for my mom and one for my sister. We're starting tomatoes late in the season...
