Shrimp plant

Mena, AR(Zone 7a)

I am sending a picture of my shrimp plant. I want to know how to repot and/or do whatever I need to do to get it back into its original shape. I was thinking about taking the vine ends that have leaves and replanting them...or should I put them into water first to get them to get some roots and then plant them in pots.. Should I cut the vines off and see if the plant will come back from what is left?
Please help before I do something wrong. Thanks for your help

I'm not sure that it needs to be repotted. Can you tell us a little more about the conditions you've had it in (light, water, fertilizer, etc)? These aren't typically supposed to be vines, they are more compact and shrubby so the fact that yours is growing like that suggests to me maybe it hasn't been getting enough light or something like that.

Thanks for your answer. Actually I have had it in my sun room all the time. In the afternoon it is real sunny in there in summer and winter. I thought it was getting too much sun. I watered it when the soil felt a little dry. I put some liquid fertilizer maybe 2 to 3 times a year. I moved it outside in the shade about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it got the flowers on it. But now I think I should do something to get it back to what it was originally. It was in a basket with a birdnest fern both in their own pots. I guess I miss spoke by calling the limb a vine. It is actually a limb but all the leaves have fallen off over time so I thought I would try it outside in some shade. It was a shrubby plant at first. I hope this helps a little more. Thanks again for your help

I've found shrimp plants benefit by heavy pruning. Mine had long limbs and I cut them way back, now there is new growth.

Thanks bugme, I still have my shrimp plant outside. I have moved it around alot and I think I have it where it really likes to be. Now it has lots of flowers but only at the tips of the limbs and very few leaves. Should I trim all the limbs back and let it start all over. Should I try to root the limbs with the flowers that I cut off also. I just don't want to kill it. It means so much to me. Thanks again

I cut mine all the way back to about 6" and there are new leaves.
