Hello hotties, what a night, I received burgs from the coop tonight; they were in dumped in my driveway by the S####D A## rural route post man. It’s still pouring buckets here and everything is flooded, the box was soaked through. After a 2 hour ride home from work (rain and lot of traffic) I had to take a 12 mile hike in this typhoon to the nearest place I could get potting soil as mine in the bin looked like muck. Finally now everyone’s top is dry, had the ST dinner and tucked into pots in the kitchen for the night. I’m beat, kinda like when my kids were little. You hotties have had a busy day, I read all the posts and loved all the flower pics. The shirts look great, and the puppy is adorable. Hello to anyone I haven’t said Hi to yet and Welcome from me to anyone that is new.
Oh and the burgs from the coop are fantastic, big and beautiful, super packing job, special thanks to you Nadine.
Oh I am glad they are arriving in great shape..Whew!!.. I packed them like I would like them packed and shipped to me in great shape..LOL....I told some people on the coop..them brugs were not small...nope..over 2 feet tall or more..lol...
Well it kinda sorta stopped raining this evening but was too dark to go out and see any damage from the wind we got..
What's blooming in Poway. Creamsickle just opening up. This plant has been ignored much of the time, but she's making me take notice again. These blooms will get a slight amount of color when they're a day or two older.

I got one of those rope handled tubs last night at the grocery store. They beat WM with the clearance price. 6 bucks, now to get the holes in it without killing another drill bit (tools really hate me).

Good morning everyone. No storms here. We are still bone dry and I'm still watering!
I went out this morning before leaving to come to work, to check the baby with 3 pods on it. Can't let that one dry out you know! And guess what! No pods!!! I stood there for a minute just looking at it, and then looked around, wondering if I'd moved the pot last night. I was beat last night, but didn't think I was THAT tired! Move something and forget it???
Then I looked down and saw them. One pod laying about 2 feet away from the pot, another one in the pot next to this one. And turned around to see 3 very innocent feline faces looking at me! I don't KNOW that they saw the "danglies" and decided to play. But it wasn't windy last night. @#$%^&!! cats!
Ok, how long before it will try again??

So sorry for your blooms getting removed. I don't know how long it will take for more to grow.

Yobiyeah!!!- means Hello or Good morning or however ya greet people in the morning..Now it is sunshining and I only found 1 big limb that came crashing down yesterday..will have to wait until my brother gets here to help me get it out of my ginger bed..cut it up and make good firewood for BBQ pit!! I have little tree limbs that these trees of mine decided to shake out of themselves..lol.. next I will have to mow my 5 acres since I know my grass has grown in the last few days...

Since I bought me some brugs from Maggi, I have this huge front flowerbed that needs to be filled up..I will post pics of this hodgepodge area to show ya'll what I been doing..This flowerbed was in the making for 2 years by adding mulch,horse poop,layers of papers,and soil to build it up...
Babebera is a girl doggie and she is a sweetie..lol...

Good morning everyone, out another day and gosh, it takes forever reading, laughing, looking and feeling the excitement on this thread. I love all the blooms, though I have no idea really what some of them are, and only get green with envy(forgive me) when I see what all of you can do with a plant. As for mine, I may have loved them to death, well, they aren't quite dead yet, but they have sheaded their precious leaves, and I'm stareing them to death watching and hoping more leaves will come. All the T ideas are great...looking forward to seeing the final decision. Large for me..lol

Faye, sounds like they are getting too much water. Make sure your pots have drain holes. they don't like to sit in the water.
Do you have them in full sun, or morning sun?
Sometimes they don't like the full sun all day long. If you have them in pots, try moving them around your place until you find them the happy spot. They can be pretty finniky!!!

Was MIA most the day yesterday... The nursing Home called and my poor Momma had back pain sooo bad..( wasn't that the same reason I woke up at 6 yesterday morning?? LOL).. soo I go on down and we have a DR. appt at 10... I got home at 3 and crashed on the couch... splitting headache... got up at 6:30.. and the NH called at 7, and was taking her to the hospital for xrays.. sooo there I go again... the ^%#@ hospital didn't have a radiologist and sent her back to the NH with NO diagnosis... seems like there could be a malpractrice suit over that one!! I got home about 11.. and was literally bonkers.. still bonkers this morning too..hehe

Good Friday! Aw, Cat, bad little kitties! I bet it was cute, tho, they're so innocent.... Might try a squirt bottle with plain water and on stream and give them a few shots when I see them around playing the brugs. I'm sorry they got your buds, that is SO disappointing.. could be a few days to a few weeks to see more, keeping my fingers crossed for just a few days... Well, looking at the positive side of it, I can get them potted up now! No buds to worry about.
I don't blame them, I've had animals all my life and know how they are. They can't help it, it's instinct. My fault for not making them "kitty proof"! I normally am more on the ball than that! Even in the pots I leave outside, I put cut up window blinds to keep them from digging in them and making them a litter box! :-) The sharp ends poke them if they try and they learn quick!
It COULD have been wind, but I have my doubts. I can just imagine them batting at those dangly things in the night!
OK Hotties, I have a question for you. A month or so I got some seeds from different girls here, and thet are all popping up, but I don't remember which is which. One pot is double purple daturas, and the other is Monster white brugs. Can anyone please tell me which is which?

Hey y'all! My Sweetie has discovered bucket gardening! He saw it on tv and wanted to know what seeds he could he plant now for blooms this fall! I said I'd ask y'all! Next year he's gonna plant tomatoes in 5 gal buckets, and he's gonna bring me some 3 & 5 gal. buckets! He gets them at work. He's a keeper!
