i have two little kittens and they thought it would be fun to play with my plants. needless to say they chewed( a little ) of the leaves and completely knocked over my poor new bromeliad ( i belive it is the tillandsia ionantha; it has a pink stalk with purple/blue flowers ), breaking the tip of the pink stalk. Will the little fella be ok or will it die or what? please someone help, i love this plant and has been very easy to care for so far....thank you
please help! my poor bromeliad.....
If they just broke the flower stalk I wouldn't think that would kill the plant.
They usually have just one flower then the plant dies after first putting out some little pups on the side. So this plant may give up on flowering at this point but keep the plant alive so you get the babies and can plant them to replace the mother plant. Aloha
