OT-More Outside Beauties-2 : )
Alrighty then, here we are :)
Beautiful canna Nance, and awwww that baby bunny! I have NEVER seen a rabbit in the wild....strange huh?
I didn't realize that I had so many pictures to share with all of you so I'm just going to start posting.
I apologize in advance if there are any duplicates, I'm trying not to show the same daylily more than once but sometimes I have a mental block as to whether or not you have already seen something *lol*
Start off with Barbara Mitchell
Nancy, I Love that Canna! I have one yellow patch of Cannas that I planted years and years ago, have no idea what the name is though. I have seen very few pink's that I really like and that one is a knock out for sure!
That little bunny is sooo cute! We used to see bunnies around here all the time but I haven't seen any in about 3 years. Lots of construction ... all the critters are being displaced.
We've been having some much needed rain for the past two hours ... I ran out and took a couple of pictures between the raindrops!
Here's a close up of a crape myrtle bloom
OMG Kim..You have some Real Beauties!! I just Love Love Love that Noid in the 2nd pic..Wowzers that is Gorgeous!!..all are of course..lol..but that one Sends Me : )..Lin..Loving the bloom on your crape myrtle too....

Gosh, I just love the looks of these Daylily's! I don't grow them, have a couple of Stargazer's that have never done much but love them. I sometimes have problems with bulbs getting buried under too much mulch and never coming up!
Yours are really gorgeous Kim! I especially love the two with the tropical colors ... like the soft colors of the sky near the end of a sunset! And, that second one that is tropical looking with the ruffled edges ... Wow!
what do you mean you don't normally like spiders? ;o)
Wow Kim, you must have a gazillion day lily's! They are really pretty flowers, aren't they! Oh, I love that balloon flower too! I would just love to get rid of every single inch of sod on our property and have a yard full of blooms. I love the cottage style gardens/English gardens/French Country gardens!
Wow, finally a chance to just sit and type :)
Can you tell it's daylily season? *lol*
Spider......you silly, I meant I don't normally like spider daylilies *lol* I LIKE spiders in Dave's Garden :)
Lin, that crepe myrtle is so pretty! What intricate flowers.
Nancy, I'm sorry I hogged your thread *lol* I will try to share better next time it's just I haven't posted pictures in a few days and they really add up *lol*
I love the tropical ones too but you know, the funny thing about that is they seem to be the slowest to multiply. I have never dug the fat round face one and I think there is only 2 or 3 fans out there and it's been a good 3 years or more that they have been in the ground. Strange but some of them I dig every year as they just want to take over the garden.
Not going to be a good hybridizing year for me so I'm afraid I won't have seeds this year. Just haven't been getting out there early in the morning like I should because Jess needs to be at rec by 8:00. Last year she didn't go to rec so by the time I get home from work, all the pollen is gone. Besides that, they are so dry that they aren't producing much pollen as it is. Actually other than pictures, they are quite ugly this year and I'm a bit disappointed really. The foliage is a wreck. Bad year this year for them :( Oh well, pictures still look OK *lol*
OK ladies, time for you all to share and me to sit back :)
XO
Kim
