candela, nice to have you back. As always, I enjoyed your beautiful Florida pictures.
My gingers are starting to bloom, but most of the buds are shriveling up in the heat. I know that we are not supposed to get any rain from Hurricane Dolly, but I am still waiting for those overcast days.

TrueTropical77, I sure would like to have one of those. It would be perfect if it was a dwarf.

Dutchlady, It is a very nice plumie, I have never seen one that I did not like.

robcorreia, maybe your plumerias need a little superbloom ferterlizer, goodness knows it is hot enough.

Rj. It is so nice to see your pictures. Your EE bed is fabulous, you have quite a collection of unusual alocasias.
The jagged edge is a Alocasia Portei.

candela, I like the fallen blooms under your Flamboyant tree in your picture, and hope that you are having a relaxing and pleasant day off.
The black pepper plant does produce edible peppercorn, it has blooms on it right now.
I thought that it was going to be a bush, but is is vineing

OMG. I just came back from Tampa and Key West. Plant heaven!!! Stuff growing wild on side of road. It's crazy. The only saving grace is my husband won't stop for crazy plant wife!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks Rita!

We are nuts aren't we? ahha Lilimerci, I also drive my husband crazy when we travel...I want to stop everytime I see a nice plant, in or out of the car!
Rita, you're right, I need to fertilize my plumie some more...I've been lagging because I know I also need to amend the soil...
Otherwise, I've been getting some nice tropical blooms from my other babies....mind you, I didn't know EEs bloomed until this week, lol!

My passiflora is covered in blooms too...I just have no idea of her id. Maybe someone here knows?

Rj, please tell me where I can order myself a dioon. That is soo pretty.

Everyones pics are wonderful.

Rita, is there a certain superbloom fertilizer that you recommend. And is there any certain spray to use for pests on tropicals. I use MG pest spray for my other plants, but the tropicals don't like it.

Red Oak, TX

drapelady, I use Miracle Gro Bloom Booster. I always use Green Light Neem on my tropical plants for bugs. I carry a quart squirt bottle with liquid soap and Neem while working in the garden.

sunshinesw, very nice morning glory flowers. I like the lime green leaves on the second picture. I have been lurking around on the morning glory forum for quite a while, and as always, that is a very nice Hoya.

phughes, thank you for the ID. The aucuba is hardy to zone 7b, so it will be coming out of the covered area. I need all the room I can get for my tender tropicals.

LiliMerci, did you buy any interesting plants in Florida? I truly enjoy my trips there. My vehicle is always packed, with hardly any room to sit on the trip home.

robcorreia, I do not know the name of your passion flower, it is very pretty. I only have this one.
