Victor do I need to do my nightly therapy at your house and deadhead your coreopsis for you?
Garden Photos - Part 22
Kassia it's funny how now that I read your comments I can hear your voice saying them.... can't wait till we meet again!
Love the Amethyst Temple, Celeste! (Funny, in 3rd grade i had a crush on a boy whose last name was Temple...) Sue brought me some blue-eyed grass (that i asked her for) at the RU. It sure doesn't grow all by itself here! But somehow i imagine all sorts of magical things growing all by themselves together in the Pixie garden!
Great shots, everyone! My gardens are looking rather ragged and ratty at the moment. Between the rains, the heat, and taking care of the kiddos, the only looking at my gardens has been through the windows this week! I hope that I can make some time this week end to get outside and weed, and rescue.
The "Starling" DL was from B&D Lilies. Sent this spring,I was delightfully amazed.
I thought I had lost this one , she never bloomed last year and didn't look very well. DH went and cut down a tree so this portion of my bed could get more light this year.. I keep my dark colored ones in places with dappled or shade from the hot afternoon sun. I guess it was in too much shade as she's fine now and blooming.
'Bela Lugosi'
No... not exactly
NNNNNNOOOOOOO?
i'll keep it anyway it's pretty.
Good for Bella, like it when they respond to the environment they like.
I agree about the ageing but the petals of the one I have are pointier ans edged with yellow.
B&D 's are more round and recurved and no other color is persent. I'm going to look at the catalog to find it.
