Got these a couple evenings ago. I just happen to be at my window with the camera, thank goodness! My neighbors probably wonder about me at the window...I am only 5ft tall, so I stand on stool to get me up over where the top of the lower window casement to take pics out the window! lol

Ruby-throated Hummingbirds Vol.6
Nice pics nanny! Thanks for starting the new thread!
Nice pic Nanny. you make me laugh. I do things too, sometime, that makes them wonder. One neighbor find it's funny when she sees me running around the yard with my camera. She says" time for pictures again huh". With me, it's not only birds, I'm fanatic with flowers also.
I missed a good shot this morning of the hummingbird in the delphiniums. But I'll keep watching, he'll be back.
Beautiful, beautiful birds. How fortunate you are to see them
Whew!! Thank you guys!! Great pics!
Nice pics of the beautiful female beclu!
Happy to see more posting also. Pelle awesome color on yours.
Beclu lovely little female, she seem to be posing for you.
Very nice Pelle, glad to see they are in your yard again.
Keep 'em coming Beclu!
Rose! wonderful as always. I wondered where you've been. So you dont' have 40 hummers anymore??
here's my hummingbird moth… (i'm feeling left out). I hope s/he will tell the hummingbirds of all my wonderful tuberous flowers!!!
Beautiful shot Marna! I've never seen one of those! What is that beautiful flower?
We have been putting up hay and it looks like all is done now...hopefully life will get back to normal! I think the adult Hummers are off playing house again...not sure. We have about 20 and they are eating over half a gallon of nectar a day...little piggies!!
wow.
wow.
That beautiful flower is "larkspur." It is a self-seeding annual. If you let it (which I do) it will come up everywhere the following year. it's in this blue/purple, white and pink. I have a couple plants that are tinged in white too. Want some seeds???? I have plenty!
Beautiful rose!
Nice hummimgbird moth Marna! I haven't seen any yet this year???
1/2 gal a day? Wow is right. Thanks for all the beautiful pictures posted here. I wonder if anyone knows how to figure out the sounds the ruby-throated hummingbirds make. I can differentiate at least 3 different things they "say" & it's as if they are the loudest when they are bullying each other. They chase each other away from the feeder or just chase each other whenever. Sometimes there are 4 birds in on it. I wonder who else has noticed this & might have any ideas?
Wow Marna great pic of the hummingbird moth. Beautiful Moth, I hoping to see these guys here, cause I need pollinator for my Brugmansias.
super photos, Rose.
Your little hummer look very dainty Nanny. so sweet.
I didn't get any good pic of mine today. It was way to blurry.
I'll see what I can get tomorrow.
Cool moth M.E. - I haven't seen any yet. I did see a monarch land on my milkweed!
Love all your hummer photos everyone. Very inspiring!
What a sweet little male Nanny!
Mrs. Ed...I would love some Larkspur seeds...thanks for the offer. I will send you postage...just let me know!
davis...I love to listen to their sound also..I wish I knew what they were chattering and fighting about. They are so much fun to watch and listen!
Here are some pics from today...this one looks like some of it's feathers are missing.
