thanks jaye--like the common sense comment--it is a glycerine soap and i just love glycerine soap--i still remember the first time i ever tried it! i just couldn't believe it!

And Jaye... if you invite her to your house, she'll bring you some of her soap... she did me... and other goodies too... what a surprise... didn't expect her to show up with goodies.

Well, I was so proud of myself.. I was all caught up.. all my swaps were finished... transplants done into the fairy garden... cleaned up my messes I made... then took those boxes to the post office and saw them on their way to my buddies.... THEN I had to stop at the neighborhood garden center down the road because they had a 1/2 price sale on everything.. sheesh... bought 2 flats of stuff for the miniature garden... so, now I'm behind again...

are one of those 'pressies' for me???

BJ, you stay so busy. What was on sale. I wish we had a decent garden nursery here. But then again, I would be in sooooooo much trouble. Oh well. I am going back to San Antonio next week, so I will do more shopping then. I can't wait for all my miniature stuff to come in so I can finish my miniature garden. Just got to finish decorating it...

I leave Wedn. but will be sure that Kathy who is caring for the animals will make a daily visit to the post office...doubt they would ever return something for non pick up as they know I'm there almost daily...lol

SOOOO tired today, quiet here, just might put my head back and relax..worked too hard this past week, catching up with me.

Well my DD has to go to the school a couple of days this week so Mom will be free to play, shop, go to nurseries or whatever she wants. She has appointed herself my monitor on buying plants--urrghh! Just like her Dad. Love her tho!!! Maybe I can buy them and sneak them in before she gets home that afternoon. Shhhsh, shouldn't have to do it this way--I'm the Mom!!!!

Linda 1, making soap. Wow!! Wanna come sell it at our spring festival? Might have to try that some day when I get caught up---LOL who am I kidding?

Sorry, Betty... not this time... I'm leaving for Denver next week... then I'm going to have company the next two weekends... maybe after all that I can get on to doing some things for other friends on DG... not swaps... just gifts...

Well, Linda Kay... this Garden Center is the only Organic place near me... but they're usually pretty expensive... Lowe's is so much cheaper on the same plants.. so, I just stopped today to see of they had things "cheap" that I can't get at Lowe's. And they did.

Lucky you!!!!!! Counting days until Wednesday--nurseries here I come.

Just got back from the dentist and I"m ready to yawn too! Didnt get my tooth pulled though, still had a pocket of infection...sigh. He put me on some super duty antibiotics and I go back Wednesday. But I'm still sleepy, must be all that yawning going on...

Glad they caught the infection before going further but I hate the waiting again. Take a nap--you've earned it.

Well, Jaye... the house is now presentable for Don to get home... and my list is ready for him to pick and choose his projects... All I need to do now is plant all those little pots I just came home with... some of them are needing dividing... and rootbound... so, it's like getting twice as many plants for 1/2 the price of one plant... kind of exciting... don't ya think?

HOWEVER... I'm going to pull a Marion and super clean my house before going to Denver... But not till the weekend... I so love to come home to a clean house... right Marion?

Oh my yes, that's the best part of going away!! Coming home and the house is clean!!!!!!!

Well, nobody's said anyting here today, so I thought I would.

It's been understandably quiet...the heat got to most of us! Especially me!

Brightening up the room with a few lovelies and a surprise caught in the garden.

Red October hostas. Only hostas with red stems.

Hibiscus. This year, it's a prolific bloomer. A heavy feeder.

Spider Lily. One of the few that followed me from Louisiana.

Hydrangea. Endless Summer brand.
Some rusty nails were thrown in before planting. Hopefully it remain a nice pale lavendar color.

That hydrangea was a Lowe's rescue. Original price was at 24.99. Got it for less than half.

What beautiful blloms Jaye. Your plants are beautiful! Mine are all suffering in the heat. But thats normal! Come September hopefully things will bounce back.
