We have flower pots on our deck. I was wondering if we can use spanish moss decorative soil cover. I was not sure if you can because on the package we purchased, it talks about crafts and hobbies ideas and hanging and indoor plants. It really does not talk much about outdoor plants use as a ground cover. If I do use it outside will it harm the flowers or fruit trees we have in the potted plants? We purchased Schultz spanish moss soil cover.

I think it's meant more for use in containers than on the ground. If you use it on the ground, it will probably just get all moldy and rot...not to mention becoming a source for disease to breed.
It's ok in pots where it gets air circulation for it to dry out in between waterings.
Some spanish moss is dyed, that wouldn't be the best. If it is not dyed, I think it would be OK. ... Not too different from using grass clippings or other vegetative coverings, I wouldn't think.....
