I like your garden! Just my size! ^_^

I transplanted my strawberries from a planter (where no berries grew) to the garden where I now have three petrified litlle berries ... how can I grow the real thing?

I've never grown them before, but other than buying the pretty pot and the plants I didn't do anything special. I haven't had a lot of berries, but enough to sneak a few every time I go out on the patio. Hopefully someone else will have better guidance for you.

Have you ever seen this info on watering a strawberry pot? I thought there was a video here on DG, but couldn't find it. This method ensures that the water gets distributed to the bottom plants, as well as the top!

The first gives instructions & parts lists:

The second shows a picture of how it works:

Janet, do you know what kind of berries you have? I know you don't generally get any production the first year, as it is getting established, but don't know how long you've had yours. This is my first year with strawberries, so will have to wait until next year to find out if I did it right! LOL
