I planted Red Dutch in 2 different parts of the yard, both in partial shade. One clump still has green buds, but the other is in full bloom.

Hmmmmm, not sure who this is. It's tag says it's an Oriental lily called Fantasy. It don't look like an Oriental to me... What do you think? I might not be looking at the right tag..

Thanks Arlene, but I'm not so sure it is Nettie's Pride.. :) But it is pretty just the same. Where are some more of your lilies, Lady? :)

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

All of these are beautiful. Diann, gorgeous purple combo with Landini. And Stunning took my breath away. And what about those dark stems on Elodie!? Yikes. Too pretty.

Trogan (sp?)...

I have to tell you, I purchased this one from the PNWLS in the fall of 2006 and it has just now showed up! I even dug down a bit last year looking for it but this showed up a few inches from where I thought I planted it!

This very tall trumpet that I have posted the last couple of years has divided and is a bit shorter this year. I still have to stake it tough...

I'm thinking about making one of my back beds mostly peach and purples. Plum Peach would be perfect there. It's such a striking one. Right now I have Midnight and Peach Pixie lilies there along with Out of Darkness daylily. Plus a lot of things that will need to be moved to other beds.

Love that Blackbird!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

New to Lilies.
New house.
Former owner-gardener
What ailes this patch of Lilies:-( besides weeds and being eaten by bugs.
Why are they yellow?
How can I rescue them and what do I do to fix-em.

I looks like the former owner may have removed the original bulbs and these are new lilies that multiplied from them. They are probably imature. They should bloom in a couple of years. They are yellowing , perhaps, from lack of food or just past their growing season. They can be lifted after the stalks turn brown and relocated to a better spot or fed and left where they are. You might want to try a pesticide for insect damage. Depends on the type of bugs.

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow! so many buds on Colosseo!

PlumPeach is very nice, so unusual and eyecatching!

This is 'Gluhwein' from Faraway Flowers:

Thanks Maineak I'll move these bulbs to one of my "bulb hospitals"
New house ,I'm discovering plants that havn't had any care for three years, former owners left stuff undone.
I'll keep everyone posted.
I dug some of them, they were planted very shallow,I think just thrown there and on top of a rock 3" down.
Planted them deeper in richer soil. We'll see what a week with composted topsoil does for their color.

What a great way to start the day, all of your lilies you guys! 'Fairest' is just so wonderful and isn't 'Earliest Pink Rosepoint Lace' just adorable?

And it wouldn't be the same around here if pard didn't post her own pard. Love that name and flower pard!

Marlborough, MA(Zone 5b)

I planted a bunch of unknown lilies last year that I got from Christmas Tree Shop
It was one of those bags that has 15 mixed bulbs in it.
Almost all of them are pretty but plain. Single colors like pink or red or yellow.
This came up this year and so different from the rest that i wondered if it might have a name.
I thought it might be one of the Tango Honey Bees that I planted. None of them grew.
Thanks, Chuck
