"How to be a Gardener" with Alan Titchmarsh from the BBC

Alan is in England but the advice is good worldwide.

I've watched these several time and learn something new every time I see them. These are from the first series (eight episodes), and cover all the basics. The second series is all on landscape design, but I haven't found them in a format I can share.

Thank you for the links. I used to love watching Ground Force. Alan Titchmarsh was the host and garden desiner. It was a landscaping make over show on BBC that was shown on BBC America. The show also came to the US and did some gardens here--mostly in the south and west. There is a DVD: Best of Ground Force: Garden Rescues that recaps some of the shows. Alan Titchmarsh wrote the book: Ground Force Weekend workbook. It covers design basics, lawns, water features, containers, building walls, fences, etc. There are four books in the series, each targeting different subjects. But these links are great--and free!
