Stink bugs eating my tomatoes

Milton, FL(Zone 8b)

I have stink bugs eating holes in my tomatoes and have no clue how to get rid of them. I've tried seven dust but that has not helped with them. Is there anything I can use that will get rid of the bugs but not my tomatoes?

As far as I know beneficial parasitic wasps are the best control. Combination Rotenone/Pyrethrum sprays are fairly effective. Any chemical insecticide would need to have a fairly long residual action -- not so great if you're close to or are actually harvesting fruit!

I hate to say it, but a small handivac? We used to have to go through the potato plants in Maine, on a daily basis and vac the potato bugs into it, and then dump them into some kerosene. Unfortunately, the chickens wouldn't eat them.

I am having the same problem ,my aunt told me that the thing to do is to spray them with a solution of dishwashing liquid and water. I have'nt tried it yet but she swears by it.

Stuff like dish soap usually works best on soft bodied insects like aphids, I'm not sure it would do anything against stink bugs.

Try mixing Sevin and 1 tbs dish soap in a hand spayer the spray the plants, soap makes the sevin stick and (HaHa)the bugs sick......
Sorry I couldn't resist. I use this all the time and it works
