Hi! I bought a potted princess flower plant, I transplanted my plant to a much larger container I used Miracle gro potting soil and sprinkled a bit of Osmacote around the base of my plant. Now the leaves are withering and turning yellowish. The flowers are pretty small but they don't bloom like I expected and is that common?. I stick my finger into the soil I feel the soil rather moist. Am I watering too much or not enough? I am going to keep my princess flower in the container will that stunt the growth? What should I do or not do?? Thanks

Could be too much water.
I suspect too much water, they don't need a ton of water so you need to let it dry out a bit more in between waterings. Also, if the pot you put it in was much bigger than the pot it came in, that makes it even easier to overwater so I'd move it into something smaller. The rule of thumb is to pot up one size at a time as the plant grows, so for example if your plant came in a 1 gallon nursery pot, I wouldn't put it in anything that's bigger than the size of a 3 or 5 gallon nursery pot, etc.. The other thing that may be contributing is when you repot things, you often disturb the roots a bit, so it's best to keep the plant in a shady area for a little while--I have a feeling the moisture level is the main problem, but if it's in the sun right after transplanting that is probably not helping.
