Very humid and thick air around here. Only 68 degrees but you would guess much higher. Overcast and grey, no wind. If the sun comes out it will be really unbearable I think. Just walking around the garden you turn into a puddle. Yuck.

Wind has shifted to the easterly flow, big change in air mass. Much drier right now and the sun is shinning. This front is supposed to wobble up and down all weekend. Nice to be on the drier air side right now. Another hour from now it could all change again. :)

We seem to be getting enough rain so far this year, but it only lasted 2 minutes, and only 1/8 inch. Sunny and humid now.

I know here in Ontario Canada we do get some wild electrical storms which are just awesome to watch! I mean you wouldn't really want to be hit by anything but part of you still wants to go and watch them.....just tonight we had a great lightening show along with thunderous noises but yet no rain! Amazing! Funny thing (or not so funny) my dad was actually hit by lightening about 10 years ago....first signs of any storm and he is in the house asap!!!! He had blue fire shoot out his finger tips! Amazing eh?!?!?!

Has anyone here from the states seen the Northern Lights? Now that is something to see......Come visit Canada - I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Never seen 'em, they must look real nice up there, less light pollution up there than here that's for sure! Should look real nice with dark skies. ☺

Yes they do but even "I" haven't seen the extend of their beauty - either I have been in bed or I just missed them - I have seen parts of it and all I can say it is awesome from what I have seen!

Dawn, I've seen the Northern Lights twice in my life and they are beautiful!
No rain at Kassia...as a matter of fact it was hot!
It was drizzling when I entered back into Maine and it's a soft rain and 57 this morning. Dreary anyway you look at it!

I have seen the Northern Lights twice back in the late 80's and I think in September or October like 2-3 A.M. I can remember it was cold.

Mockingbird nest in my front yard, 9' off the ground. What's interesting is that there are 3 mockingbirds guarding this nest. They take turns going in and out of the nest in which they 'dissappear'. the other 2 do not let as much as a squirrel as close as 15' from the base of the tree. I suspect the one inside cannot see out of the nest so the other 2 keep a very, VERY close vigil, guarding ground as well as 'airspace'. ☺

I got sss sss ssteam heat!...Man, just came in - absolutely gross. About 70% humidity and 83. My camera immediately fogged up.
