Waiting for my yellow prickly pear to open. I just bought a white or off white blooming one and I have a new one (last year) that's pink.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 24
38 REALLY cover stuff ,that sounds like close to freezing.lol:)
AHHHH Now thats comfortable.
I might have guessed 68 even.
68 and gorgeous!
I am closing my eyes at those 30's - real or not
No doubt Nance sounds too much like winter again!!
Clem,
The prickly pear is GORGEOUS!!!
Clear here this morning and 55°
Wind: S at 6 MPH
Humidity: 90%
Dewpoint: 58°
Pressure: 29.91 in. and rising ~ gonna have T-storms this afternoon and evening
And, for Victor ...
Sunrise: 5:12 am

Had tons of rain yesterday....at work. Not a drop in my yard! Looks like a better shot on Friday/Saturday
Great blooms, clem. 69 and sunny. Have to get my plants in this AM.
78.6°, Rh 55%. ☺
Sunny with a slight breeze from the south at 3 mph, hasn't rained here for awhile.
Thank you Vic and Candyce!
68 degrees and climbing,no rain, yippie! Clemen
Very low and gray with hi humidity.
Clem, I love your prickly pear blooms!
79° here. Sunny.
85 right now supposed to get to 92. chance of thunderstorms all weekend, they always seem to miss us though.
Me too. They seem to hit all around me.
A heavy 1/4 inch here this morning.
Yep Debbilu we had a nice steady rain for about an hour.
I need to take photos ,wish the sun would come out.
I'll take it whether light or heavy! The t-storms are popping up in the area. I'm crossing my fingers. Got all but two plants in the ground this AM. It was hot!
Just popped in 2 echinacea and now it's raining nicely!
Very dark and menacing, but seen this many times the past few weeks. Radar shows just north of me getting hit harder.
Of course it passed and we got nothing - sun's back out!
Well, I'm north of you and we got some rain for a while. It was steady with some rumbles of thunder and is just sprinkling right now. The temp has dropped to 70.
Nice until I got back from babysitting-was going to tie up tomatoes---it rained. Victor, our hike paralleled the Housatonic River--nice breezes & great water views--large flock of common mergansers, which always seem to present in that river.
We had showers again tonight, a little more rain than is good for the bearded iris. Watch us complain if Aug. is hot & dry again.
Going to be a GREAT 4th here no rain and cool.
Finally it rained here... it's been a long time... bad news is it looks like it might be rain on and off here for the next 3 days
There's been entirely too much rain here lately, after a rather dry May this year. Our roses are blooming with brown edges to the petals, and everything looks so doggone soggy.
They say it may be a good day today for clearing skies. I won't hold my breath.
57° right now
Wind: East at 3 MPH
Humidity: 93%
Dewpoint: 59°
Pressure: 30.02 in. and steady
Thank you Sofonisba, Happy Indenpendence Day Everyone, it looks like it will be another rainy Fourth!! Sad girl over here! Clemen
Clemen, I don't think you have to worry too much. Check the radar. http://www.weather.com/weather/map/interactive/11779?from=mycity_wx . We might have passing showers, and that's only a 50% chance.
Temp 75.2°, Wind NE 2.8, Rh 58%. ☺
The odds are now 60% chance thunderstorms, & raining here now! Wonderful!! The more rain the better, the plants can use it! ☺
Happy 4th to all! 68, cloudy and humid. Hoping for some rain.
Thank you Anita, good link, I'm going to have a house full of people, and wanted to take them boating, but with the clouds and chance of thunderstorms, well, I think we won't be able to do that! Clemen
Hope you get some rain Victor, else you might consider a drip system... or become a specialist in cacti & succulents! ☺

Rain here--nr. Cape Ann.Entirely too much for the iris.
Cool, cloudy, & showery--not a great 4th--we are celebrating tomorrow at my cousin's--hope we get some sun, but I'm not hopeful--he is doing a real NE clambake---but since I don't eat seafood, there will be chicken for me---my DH says "Good--more lobster for him"!
Looks like we did get about 1/4 inch overnight - better than nothing! Sun starting to pop out now. Grossly humid.
