Hi all,
I love the look of concrete edging in pics, if anyone has had one of these companies do work, can you share your thoughts? these companies seem to be as interested in franchising as gardening

Have you found out anything in regards to this co.? This edging looks like it would be an answer to a major problem in my yard. What is the actually name of the co.? Is it strictly based in Canada? I live in Ohio and belong to "Angies List" (which checks out companies for performance and reliability ) and could check them out with a little more info.

Hi, just google both companies and they are supposed to hook you up with a local company within two days (in both CN and the US) though I am still waiting a week later!

I did check them out on their website-not very informative. If you contacted them and you are still waiting a week later that doesn't sound very reliable to me.
I also checked out all sorts of other edgings on line, there was one through (www.improvementscatalog.com) which offers a "Stone Wall Border" . It's a plastic border and comes in 10 ft snap together sections. Looks good I may check into that .

I would take the picture to a couple local landscaping companies and see if they can do something similar--if they have experience with stamped concrete it shouldn't be too hard for them to give you a similar look. The trouble with edging like that is it's rather permanent/expensive--if you're positive you don't want to expand your garden beds for a very long time then go for it, otherwise you may prefer something that's either expandable like the DIY edging materials, or at the very least cheaper so you won't be throwing that much money away next year when you decide you want to expand the bed.

I agree . Have used the black "plastic" sink in the ground type before, which is a pain but at least it can be moved. It would be nice if someone could mfg a light weight product that looks nice and could be reconfigured as the landscaping expands. It could be another great recycling idea for old tires which pollute the landfills.
