My friend gave me a cutting from her "Ugly Plant" as she calls it. It gets extremely large-long (over a foot long) flat leaves that sprout leaves from that leaf. The leaves are also very meaty. It blooms in the evening (around 8:00). It is a very short lived blossom (about 2 hrs.) and then it just drops off. The blossom is white and it is very, very large. (almost a foot long) Can anyone tell me what the common name is for this plant? Any suggestions on care of this plant would be much appreciated.
Ugly Plant?
Is this similar to your friends plant?
It's from our own PlantFiles:

Sasha
It does sound like an Epiphyllum (orchid cactus). If it's not the one Sasha listed above it might be the E. hookeri: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2100/.
Here's a photo of my E. hookeri taken last fall: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/168905/
Yeah, that's it. An Orchid Cactus. Is it very hard to care for? Any suggestions? Thank you so much for your help. It is really appreciated.
