Thank you, Brigitte! He will love them!
RU trade/share list
OK, I'm starting to load up the car.
Whew! i am beat from packing stuff. i really hope i didn't forget anything!!!
My alarm computer just reminded me that there's a RU tomorrow.
Well, I will be packing the car in the morning. . .
Me too
o, i dodn't pack the car! Just the containers, baggies, and 2 trays i am trying to cram everything onto.
i hope i have what i am supposed to for everyone, and that my divisions aren't too small.
I've loaded the buckets, a chair & a box of assorted seeds.
Tomorrow will be the plants & cakes.
In a tote bag will be the camera, some copies of Mom's recipe, a marker and a copy of a book that came out last year with pics of my garden. :o)
Oh! And the directions!
Here's what I'm bringing:
In this pic:
--- Heuchera... some tiny (they were volunteers that popped up here & there.
--- 4 Habenero Pepper plants (one is for Onewish1 (Allison)
Someone else mentioned wanting a hot pepper - I forgot who. She said he hubby liked them. These are HOT!
--- 1 Nicontania Landorfii - this is another volunteer. It has a pale white/greenish flower
It grows about 3' tall. I think there may be seed in the seedbox from it. I don't remember.
I had these about 4 years ago & never had to plant them again. They were showing up all over the place - in pots, between the bricks, heck - I'm surprised they weren't groing out of my ears!
Last - but not least - Elephant Ears. (Carrie, Nanegoat66 & FlowerJen)
No pic. I'm bringing these up bare-root.
There are 2 medium sized that can be split. There are also 3 itty-bitty ones.
I'll let y'all figure out how you want to do it.
See you tomorrow!
Nancy

Yes, Nancy, it was wonderful to meet you and the other Nancy too! Did you see the photo thread? Sorry I don't have the link but it's in the NE Forum called some early pictures... by dogwalker!
I just found it. You're doing a splendid job of identifying everybody!
Thanks.... I'm sorry about all the people I've already forgotten. and by tomorrow I will have forgotten even more... :-(
And some we never will!
I mean the names, just the names, sorry.
Not to sound like a broken record, but THANK YOU to everyone, Kassia most of all! for a really great time meeting everyone and sharing such a fun day! I am so grateful for the generosity of everyone who came with so many plants to share. I received many to put in my friendship garden, as well as in my already established "trademark" Pixie garden, and I will deliver some to Candyce and Anna as well. Hank had as much fun as I did, and now he will get it when I mention a post from someone. The food was so fantastic, and Kassia's gardens were fabulous. It was just an A+ time all the way around!!! Thank you all so much!!
Louise
Oh, Louise, it was fantastic to actually meet you! Thank you and Hank for travelling so far to meet us relative southerners (Milton is considered "South Shore").
In fact THANK YOU to EVERYONE who traveled a long way - my trip was only 45 - 50 minutes. I had a wonderful time as well!
I am so glad that my mother brought me along to the RU.( Eglantyne's daughter) I am an avid gardener ,actually obsessed , and have been for many years!! Thank you to Kassia for opening up her beautiful gardens for everyone to enjoy. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I am currently signing on as a Dave's Garden member as soon as I can decide on a name. Hope to see everyone at the next RU!!! Angela Simeone Milton, MA.

Kassia,I want to Thank You for organizing this once again.Your gardens ,especially your roses are a delight. It will be a day well remembered by us.Thank You for a great time and plants.I will make tags what is from whom :-)
Brigitte
Oh, hurray Angela! Be sure and let us know who you become. (Don't make it too confusing... please... I'm naturally confused already...)
It was wonderful meeting all of you!!
Now in going to say Good Night!
Amythyst - I actually planted some seeds this year - the same with the photo you began this thread with - I can't remember the name of it! Anyhow they are doing so well and I have never seen them around here before! Gosh they are so blue and so pretty! I can't wait till we get more sun so they can bloom more of their pretty little heads off. Have you had these before and have they done well for you?
Dawn, it's called blue pimpernel - anagallis monelli or easier yet or 'Poor mans weather vane'
why a weather vane?... closes when it rains?
Pixie you are the best... I have all your plants in already.... I am going to have to scroll back up and look at the pictures again.... I learned a lot from you guys with the name tags this year.... going to do it like that for next year
but thank you everyone for the great plants.... just about everything is planted... Michele gave me (for my birthday) a dog planter with a springy head... the tiny dahlia & pimpernel are going to go in there
Oh Allison it was wonderful to meet you and so glad you like the plants. Yes on the weather vane..if it rains they will close up just before i think.
Angela - I'm so glad that you will officially be joining us. It was great to meet you and your Mom, our very own Eglantyne/Brigitte.
Today, despite the terrible humidity here, I have planted Emily's heirloom Brandywine tomato, Dave47's phlox, Amy's strawflower, blue pimpernel & pink gazanias & Liza's blue iris in my Friendship garden. I still have Nance's moonflower vine, the latest many additions to my Trademark Pixie Garden including the white lilac, daylilies and iris, Sherrie & Allison's coleus, Harper's red yarrow and Brigitte's glads to go. Hank is very excited, Brigitte, to have those fantastic glads. Thank you all again for so many neat plants. Each will have a plant marker with your name and the date on it. I'm really glad I yanked out all of that oregano, so my Friendship garden will have so many new friends represented there!
Carrie - I can't believe I walked away without the broccoli! I'm sure it found a good home with someone though.
Did all of the plants find good homes??? I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't wait until the next RU! Hank enjoyed it so much, I think he wants to come again too! He said he was not surprised that everyone was as nice and interesting as they were......"after all, gardeners have to be very intelligent people." That's what he said. LOL Thank you all for including him so warmly as well!
I enjoyed his company too Louise .... we doing another in fall????
here comes that :::cheesy grin:::: again
point taken
:)
ok maybe your zones fall?
I bet it was nice to step away and relax for a few hours.... just to let you guys know Jen & I are posting some neg. comments in the watchdog about logees ... we had THE worst experience yesterday after leaving the RU... there was the nastiest woman working there.... I did buy a few plants while we were there... never again... just from her attitude i have a bad taste in my mouth
